Making healthy connections through transport solutions
In 2017, Sydney Motorway Corporation helped the Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation Inc convert a vehicle to transport people with a disability to medical appointments.
Sir Roden & Lady Cutler Foundation was set up in 1999 to provide emergency transport for the young, the elderly and the disabled needing to get to and from vital medical appointments.
With more than 9,000 bookings in Sydney per year, the Foundation reduces client’s financial burden and stress, and it connects them to community networks to support their specific physical and mental needs.
The Foundation provides a simple and effective transport and care model, which strongly aligns with Sydney Motorway Corporation’s objective to connect communities.
Thanks to the Sydney Motorway Corporation grant we can provide not only free and flexible transport for people with a disability, but also critical social connections in the community, and much-needed respite for their carers.”
