Dennis ClicheChief Executive Officer
Dennis was previously Managing Director of ConnectEast, operator of Melbourne's EastLink tollway, where he led the company from early ramp up to steady state operations. He oversaw the company’s sale to eight pension funds and its subsequent delisting from the ASX. More recent activities saw the refinancing of $1.2m debt including an inaugural issue of Australian bonds.
Prior to ConnectEast, Dennis was CEO of TransdevTSL, a joint venture company responsible for the Australian public transport operations of Transdev/Transfield Services including Yarra Trams, Shorelink Buses and Brisbane Ferries. He started his career with Air Liquide Canada and spent 22 years with the Air Liquide Group in a variety of executive, sales and technical roles in Canada, France and Australia. His last role was Managing Director of Australian/New Zealand. He is a current Director of Roads Australia.
Prior to joining Sydney Motorway Corporation, Dennis was also the Honorary Consul of Canada in Victoria, and was Chairman of the Transport Reform Network. He holds the Ordre National du Mérite from the French government.
Maryanne GrahamDirector, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
Maryanne has held executive and advisory roles within State and Federal Government agencies and publicly-listed companies for more than 20 years.
She played a key role in the delivery of major infrastructure projects including the Gold Coast Rapid Transit, Walsh Bay Urban Renewal, NSW Waratah Rail, Royal Newcastle Hospital Urban Renewal and the franchising of Melbourne’s Yarra Trams. More recently she was involved in the early planning and engagement strategy for NorthConnex and currently leads communication and engagement for Australia’s largest transport infrastructure project WestConnex. A highly-capable senior executive, Maryanne has also played key roles in the development of prospectuses for IPOs and capital raisings and has led investor relations and corporate affairs for a number of ASX-100 companies.
Maryanne holds a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Newcastle and has extensive experience in the areas of corporate strategy, risk management, stakeholder engagement and issue management. She is also a Director of NSW Kids in Need.
Terry ChapmanProject Director, M4 Widening and M4 East
Terry has more than 36 years’ experience in project management in the engineering and construction sectors, including natural resources, power transmission, rail transport, road and rail tunnelling and communication.
He has been involved in electrical and mechanical design and supply, installing and commissioning many of Australia’s road and rail tunnels, primarily with Alstom Australia and UGL Limited.
Terry has worked on major projects including Sydney Harbour Tunnel, Eastern Distributor, Epping to Chatswood rail, M5 East, and Lane Cove Tunnel, as well as tunnels in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Terry holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of NSW, is a member of the Institute of Engineers and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Ken ReynoldsProject Director, New M5
Ken has been involved with major projects and public-private partnerships for most of his career including design, construction, operations and ownership (concession financing) both in Australia and overseas.
His experience includes Melbourne Citylink, the Clem7 tunnels, the new Darwin prison, the new Port Botany container wharf and a cable-stayed bridge at Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
Ken has held directorships and senior executive roles in a number of organisations including Baulderstone, Lendlease and Transurban. Ken led the Transurban equity investment of the M7 Motorway and took up the initial Chief Executive position for the M7 Motorway.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney.
Peter JonesProject Director, M4-M5 Link
Peter has more than 20 years’ experience in project and program delivery in the construction industry including roads, heavy rail, public transport and a range of social infrastructure assets.
He brings international experience on major projects including delivering complex infrastructure in Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore and north America working in Government agencies, construction delivery and private sector investment.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws and Economics and a Master of Public Policy and Administration from the University College London.
Brian MackrillChief Finance and Investment Officer
Brian has more than 25 years finance experience including roles as public company Chief Financial Officer, Director of Finance and Group Treasurer. Prior to joining Sydney Motorway Corporation in 2016 he held the roles of General Manager Treasury for Vicinity Centres, Chief Financial Officer for Westfield Retail Trust, Director Finance (UK) and Group Treasurer for Westfield Group. Brian has extensive experience across finance, treasury, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, including specific finance experience in property management, development, design and construction.
Brian holds a Master of Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Steve DoranDirector, Human Resources and Services
Steve commenced with WestConnex in May 2014. Steve has over 18 years’ experience in Human Resources in civil construction and the public sector and has held senior management roles in Industrial Relations and HR. Steve has extensive experience in industrial and employee relations, workplace health and safety, policy, organisational design and change and employee engagement. He is an experienced industrial advocate in various courts and tribunals and has played key executive advisory roles in major organisational change and transformation.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Industrial Relations from the University of NSW, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney and a Masters in Public Administration from the Australia NZ School of Government and the University of Sydney.
Shaune RosserChief Information Officer
Shaune is an information technology professional with more than 15 years’ experience in strategy development, planning and delivery of large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives. He has a strong track record of delivering results and driving efficiencies to optimise business processes and systems.
Shaune has worked across the public and private sectors in Australia and internationally, successfully leading IT mergers for government agencies, shared IT services for large government clusters and the implementation of market leading IT as-a-Service operating models. His experience in working across diverse and complex environments includes key transformation roles with NSW Health and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, as well as consulting roles in the finance, government, university and clinical innovation sectors.
John MortonDirector Strategy, Commercial and Legal
Appointed Director Strategy, Commercial and Legal in June 2017.
John has nearly 30 years legal experience and has held senior executive roles in large, international engineering, construction and contract mining companies.
Prior to joining SMC, John held senior legal positions at ABB Engineering Construction and ABB Australia, was General Counsel for nearly a decade at Leighton Contractors (now CPB Contractors) and Group General Counsel at Leighton Holdings Limited (now Cimic Group Limited) with responsibility for the group’s legal function which included Leighton Contractors, Thiess, John Holland Group and Leighton Asia.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW, a Bachelor of Laws from Sydney University and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
